Chinese Version "Frozen" Theme Song Singer Bella Yao(姚貝娜) Passes Away

Mainland China singer Bella Yao(姚貝娜), whose popularity has soared since she sang the Chinese version theme song to Disney's "Frozen" passes away due to multiple organs failure from cancer today on January 16th, 2015 at 4:55 pm at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital. She was 33 years young.

Bella once performed at the 2008 Summer Olympics closing ceremony and sang the theme song to a popular drama series "Empresses In The Palace(後宮甄嬛傳)". In 2013, she joined the second season of "The Voice of China(中國好聲音2)" and became a student to Na Ying(那英) in the singing talent show. It is reported that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy back in 2011. Unfortunately, the cancer came back recently. Her condition started to worsen on January 15th and was sent to the ICU in a coma. According to Mainland China reporters, the doctors helped Bella eased the pain by giving her high hoses of sedative.

It is said Bella was in critical condition this afternoon, and his father wanted to unplug her from life support because he didn't want her to suffer anymore. As stated by Bella's record company, before she went into a coma, which was on January 9th, she signed an agreement to donate her corneas to people in need after her death.
