Actor Kwong Wa(江華) Changes Career To Become An Insurance Agent

The currently 52 years old veteran actor Kwong Wa(江華), birth name Chan Muk Wa(陳木華) was rumored to have suffered depression after he injured his back in recent years. He took time off from acting to take care of his health. Since then, there has been no news of him.

Yesterday, a netizen leaked information to the media that the once renown actor Kwong Wa has become an insurance agent for Prudential insurance company. In the pictures shared by that netizen, Kwong Wa is seen wearing casual black suit and matching top hat to attend some sort of conference.

Kwong Wa openly admitted to the rumor when reporters called him for confirmation, he said: "I am trying out insurance during this phrase of my life. My main focus is life insurance. There are just so many fun things in life, I want to experience what this is all about. I am currently just messing around but I see this as a learning opportunity. I've been doing this for about 3 months now. I was also in China to talk about investing in films." (ahmike.com)

He continued: "This is actually kind of fun. I've been quiet for so long so this is very exciting for me. I am experiencing many things for the first time in these few months." When asked what kind of things he tired for the first time, he said with a smile: "I passed out my own business card for the first time in my life. I've never tried that before. I was very passive as an actor. I have to take the initiative to interact with people now. It's really a special feeling for me."

When asked if he will stop acting from now on, he replied: "Do you miss me? Selling insurance is very free for me. I don't have much of an interest to act anymore with the exception of an attractive script and casts. I am more interested in the production side of thing. We already have a very strong team together but we are waiting for the right investors. We can start filming when we are done negotiating with contracts." (ahmike.com)

Regarding his performance on selling insurance, he said: "I have no comment on that. I am just playing around. I have more of an interest to make friends. Some friends told me that they would buy from me unless they wouldn't lose money. But I feel that if you are buying just to give me face then I don't want it. Some people also feel I should go back to acting and not sell insurance."
