As I was searching for a new WP template for a client, I bookmarked this one here cause it has a portfolio with categories. I’ve been search something like that for a few hours and this is the first one I came across that I think I can alter it for my potential client.

I think this one is not bad. Has rotating banners with text descriptions and also a link to their own pages. Plus a blog, about us, and contact. It does look like it might have the ingredients I need. However, I need to find a way to do the menu since this site is for a restaurant.

Another thing is because I’ll be doing a restaurant site, I think a good suggestion to help your clients with a restaurant business is Opentable. Reason why I say that is because I myself also use it when I dine out and it’s extremely convenient plus gives me a precise time slot for the reservation at many of my favorite restaurants. Also you can pre-arrange flowers at the table or any other requests before you arrive. Not bad at all.

3D XML Flash template

Ok, I’ve gone through a lot of flash templates and this one is by far one of the coolest I’ve seen yet. As a matter of fact it’s so good I bought this one and used it for one of my client.

This flash template is called Newton3D XML Website by dogeroski. It’s fully XML driven and it allows you to modify the whole content without even opening the source files. It’s perfect for an photographer portfolio or small agency website. It’s a very easy to manage and professional documentation is included.

The thing I like about this one is I can kick it off with a video clip right at the beginning. Also transitions between categories and the gallery is just damn good. If I knew a bit more about flash I would make it even more to my need but trust me, what he did here is already overwhelming. The only thing I haven’t figured out about this template is how to make the text a bit bigger overall. Other than that I give this one a 10 for sure.
